Charles deLint Newsletter #23

Sorry I'm a few days late in posting this.

Newsletter #23
May 11, 2006

As MaryAnn and I get ready to go to Seattle, it occurs to me that I've never mentioned this trip to you, my loyal and neglected newsletter readers. Shame on me. You can find full details on it and the upcoming Widdershins tour at my spiffy new Web site, designed and maintained by my good friend Rodger Turner.

And for those of you who live in the Ottawa area, our annual book/yard sale will be delayed until June 24th this year, because of said book tour, and also because of the book launch we're going to have at Patty's Pub on June 20th. Details about that are also on my site: www.charlesdelint.com

I'm literally minutes away from leaving for the airport, so I'll just stay long enough to mention to you fellow music junkies that while I'm still obsessing over KT Tunstall's music, the Artic Monkeys and Dave Alvin's West of the West have also been getting lots of airplay in my office and car. Oh, and I'm mourning the loss of Chris Daughtry from Idol last night. I didn't want him to win (because I'd rather he got to make the album he wants to make), but I did want to keep listening to him through to the finals...

Hope to see some of you at the museum this Sunday in Seattle, at the book launch, or on the tour. Stay well and take care of each other.

cheers

Charles & MaryAnn
