Hello from Tokyo
Hello, I have been lurking on the Smartgroups list for some time but have now made it over here.
I am Hikaru, from the US originally by way of Connecticut and Los Angeles but living in Tokyo, Japan with my husband, two kids, three computers and way too many books.
I discovered deLint's work last year and am now totally addicted.
OK, off to start the laundry and feed the kiddies some breakfast.
Glad to be here!!
Hikaru

Things are very quiet from Tokyo, Hiraku. What is happening over there?

Re: Hello from Tokyo
Hey there.
I'm still here, sorry I haven't contributed much.
My elder offspring starts elementary school next week and I've been quite busy getting things ready. My husband has also been doing various mysterious, complicated things on the computer leaving me with little time before the screen.
I'm still here and (finally) reading William Goldman's The Princess Bride and watching the latest seasons of Lost and 24 in my (limited) free time. And drinking way too much cheap Chianti.

Re: Hello from Tokyo
de Lint has a short story: The Conjure Man, published in the collection "After The King" (hardback and paperback). This is a series of short stories suggested by or related to Tolkien's Middle-earth.
